i need a nap... mmmm... naaaaaaap...

back at work now... there really isn't much to do right now... yesterday i just sat here most of the day, staring blankly at my computer screen, wishing i were home, or on vacation, or just anywhere but here... and today it's going to be much of the same... they have the AC on in the office (it's not even supposed to be 70 outside today) so it's super cold in here... and it blows on the back of my neck and there is no way to redirect the air (well, unless i want to build some sort of deflector)... so now i really just want to be in my warm, cozy bed...

maybe lunch time will come fast... i didn't eat breakfast this morning, so my tummy is unhappy... i went down to the grocery store in the building, but didn't really see anything i wanted... yeah, it's one of those days... hopefully by lunch, someone will mention something that sounds good...

i'm also hoping that by the afternoon, it's still nice weather outside... i want to walk to the lake behind my house... it's a nice walk, and gets me moving... i was a slacker last week on my walking (but i think anyone could understand) and really need to make up for it this week... maybe i just need a swift kick in the pants to get my butt in gear again... hehe...

ooo... big "discussion" between coworkers... the day just got livelier... gonna go see what the fuss is about... later...

why???

why does this keep happening to me and my family??? we can't take anymore losses right now... *sigh* i know i should be sad, but right now i'm just angry...

i feel GREAT!!!

so, after volunteering at a tent at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer today, i've decided that next year I'm gonna walk!!! Autumn and I are signing up as soon as the 2006 registration opens... and with more than a month to prepare this time, we're sure to raise the $$$ and train enough to walk the distance...

i'm already waaaay excited about it!!! this is gonna be GREAT!!!
